Cybersecurity · Security automation

Hi, I’m
Thaithe Kalathil Haryshwa Nair.

Based in the NYC area · Open to relocation

I build practical tools to understand threats
and make security work clearer.

Cybersecurity graduate. Hands-on builder. I explore threat detection, security automation, and thoughtful uses of AI—with SOC experience at Deloitte and an M.S. from Stevens.

Open to early-career security engineering & automation roles.

Arbiter AI

Local AI for alert triage.
Guardrails before judgment.

What happens when a model mistakes an attack for routine maintenance? That question led me to put deterministic guardrails around local AI.

Without a matching administrator-curated exception, the guardrail decides immediately. No model call is needed.

& leadership.

From the SOC to a developer community.
Showing up, learning, and contributing.

01ExperienceDeloitte IndiaSOC InternOct 2023 — Jan 2024

Reviewed security alerts with Splunk Enterprise Security in banking and insurance environments. Supported triage, investigation, and escalation to L2/L3 analysts.

Worked with the team to distinguish true threats from false positives and support incident resolution. This experience shaped my interest in detection and security automation.

02Community leadershipGoogle Developer GroupsGDG Brooklyn · Digital Strategist LeadLead since June 2026

My GDG journey began as a member of GDG VIT during my bachelor’s degree. After moving to the United States, I volunteered at DevFest with GDG Brooklyn and became a Digital Strategist Lead in June 2026.

At GDG Brooklyn, I contribute to digital strategy and community outreach, building on my experience as a member and event volunteer.

Discipline and commitment extend beyond the work I build.

Badminton is another part of that journey—from volunteering to an elected club officer role at Stevens.

What I bring to the work

  • Python & security automation
  • Alert triage & Splunk Enterprise Security
  • API integration & practical AI
  • Evidence-led testing & documentation

Curiosity asks the question. Discipline builds the answer.

Let’s build something
worth protecting.
